working for you – the organization’s inquiry regarding problems and difficulties in the “accessible licensing” system

Dear Members,

We wish to inform you of another activity of the organization which is currently proving fruitful, as part of its constant and relentless activity to maintain the organization members’ interests.

As you aware, as of April 2016, Regulation 101 of the Planning and Building Law has been applied to local planning and building committees around Israel, allowing the submission of building permit requests only through the “accessible licensing” system developed by the Planning Administration. Following complaints by many of the organization’s members, the organization sent a detailed letter to the Planning Administration, raising a long line of problems and difficulties with the system, which lead to the unwelcome result, within which instead of streamlining processes, the process of attaining building permits has significantly lengthened.

We are happy to report that following the organization’s inquiry, the representatives of the Planning Administration responded that they are pleased with any inquiry meant for the purpose of improving and streamlining use of the “accessible licensing” system, and that they are interested in holding a dialogue with the organization and setting up meetings for the purposes of responding to the issues raised in the organization’s letter.

This meeting will be set in accordance, and we will continue to update as events progress.

Sincerely,
Lior Bar-On, Adv.
General Manager
