Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects
The IOCEA includes over 3,800 engineers and architects who own planning, consulting, and supervision firms, together employing more than 60,000 professionals. Its members carry out most of the planning, management, and supervision work for construction and infrastructure in both the public and private sectors nationwide.
The organization was founded in 1986 to address the unique needs and challenges of self-employed professionals in the engineering and architecture sector, and to advance their business, economic, legal, and professional interests.
Over the years, its activity has spanned a wide range of fields, including industry regulation, and has extended to both the public and private sectors. Through this work, it has earned recognition as a significant and highly valued body for self-employed professionals. Among other achievements, it has established ties with representatives of the relevant government ministries and brought together representatives of the 17 disciplines operating in the engineering and architecture sector.

IOCEA Membership in FIDIC – International Federation of Consulting Engineers
FIDIC is an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland, that brings together self-employed engineers and consultants from approximately 100 countries. It works in cooperation with the World Bank, development banks, the European Union, the Confederation of International Contractors' Associations, and leading civil engineering associations in many countries. The IOCEA has been a member of FIDIC since 2004, when FIDIC's president and CEO visited Israel.
